James fforde - Modern Artist

James fforde is a British artist and creative businessman who lives in the south of England. He was born in 1961 and has drawn and painted all his life.

His preference has been for compositions from and of life, mainly figurative. More recently he has begun to explore abstract forms, either alone or in combination, and the expressive use of colour and texture.

His work has also included sketches, drawings, illustrations, maps and characterised representations of buildings and towns. He supplements his paintings with a love of caricatures and cartoons.
